Kiasmo Society was founded in 2011.
Kiasmo founded his home in Ruffano, in the middle of the Salento. This strategic position embodies the cultural and artistic character of the Mediterranean design and production. An interdisciplinary group of study deals with the design in the field of art, architecture, and fashion.
The craft, serial and industrial products are the result of a great knowledge of materials and forms, a research composed without prejudices of style. The name Kiasmo represents the will to propose a crossroads between different disciplines triggering cultural contamination with the aim to constitute a trade mark characterized by a significant formal coherence.
The professional and techniques figures that make it up have specialized and diversified skills, that skills are suitable to create a project and a final product that stands out, for its high quality, in our areas of competence.
Kiasmo collections are characterized by style and support the idea of rational and natural use of materials.
Kiasmo production includes industrial and craft works realized as unique or produced in series.

Made by collection
Kiasmo or the daily art.
The new 2015 series of Exiles dishes for Kiasmo, in continuity with the two previous series Overlook and Ulysses designed by Vincenzo D'Alba, artist of A.A.M. Architettura Arte Moderna, is an accomplished and experimental iconography that characterizes each dish as a formally autonomous and semantically ascribable to the collection work of art.
Like all the Kiasmo products also the dish becomes a precious handmade and artistic artifact.
Thus the brand confirms its growth through a careful conjugation between artistic research and function. The ceramic dish, in the essentiality of its shape, is evolving to become a white sheet on which breaks in the maturity and the absoluteness of the D'Alba's sign that, without delay, transforms the act of eating in a visionary experience.
The serial evolution of the same theme repeated till the semantic exhaustion recalls the work of Fornasetti for Pozzi Ginori; other references are gathered in the classic architectural analogy of Gio Ponti's objects; in the maniacal exasperation of geometries in the glasses of Carlo Scarpa for Venini, up to the Picasso's decorative archaism where the conciseness of the message is exalted by the speed of the sign.
The Exiles series is a black circle inside a plate. A black and deep circle where exile, lose or find yourself. Ceramics blends into the drawing becoming a sign that fills an imaginary blank from which starts D'Alba's cosmogony.
Discovering a plot of architecture, art, design and fashion.
