The Menhir Mensi is located in the center of the village of Giuliano di Lecce, overlooking via Regina Margherita and it is surrounded by an iron gate which makes it easily identifiable.
Made out of local carparo (The Carparo is a calcareous stone, resulting from the cementation of sediments of limestone, generally in the marine environment), it is 2.34 m high and its pecularity consists in being surmounted by a horizontal slab also known as hat, that makes it unique in the whole province.
