The Necropolis is located in the village of St. Antonio, on the provincial road 206 that from Ugento leads to Casarano, a stone's throw from the Crypt of the Crucifix.
Archaic though in use until the Hellenistic age, it consists today of about thirty graves dug in the rock and originally covered with slabs, they are of the semi-chamber type and, inside, the walls still retain traces of plaster and red and blue decorations; the orientation is north-west, south-east.
The burials have returned kits, locally produced pottery and ones imported from the area of Egnatia, dating back to the IV-III century BC.
