The initiative promotes informal conferences where the roles of speaker and audience combine to create sharing and participation on issues such as History, Culture, Archaeology, Nature, Ambient and the Sport with a particular look at the Regional Natural Park "Costa Otranto Santa Maria di Leuca e Bosco di Tricase" and the cross-cutting theme of Accessibility to the commons

The event is being promoted in the context of three projects:

- Viaggi nella TERRAdiMEZZO, which arises from the need to protect, promote and disseminate the rich heritage Messapic that binds the three provinces of Salento (Lecce, Brindisi and Taranto).

- Parks Without Borders (PWB acronym), a project promoted by the Lead Partner Parco Naturale Regionale "Costa Otranto Santa Maria di Leuca e Bosco di Tricase" in partnership with the UISP Comitato Territoriale di Lecce, the municipalities of Corfu (Greece) and Zagori (Greece ).

The project "Un porto in ogni borgo", which involves four towns of the Low Salento led by the City of Poggiardo.

Here, the purposes dictated by specific territorial, chosen by the respective municipalities:

1. Poggiardo - Port of Arts and Crafts
2. Castro - Port of History and Archaeology
3. Minervino di Lecce - Port of Sustainability
4. Santa Cesarea Terme - Port of Taste and Wellness
