Vele nel Parco - 21 to 23 June 2013 - V Edition - Santa Maria di Leuca

The Lega Vela Uisp - Territorial Committee of Lecce, with the collaboration of the Lega Navale Italiana - Sec. Otranto, the Circolo della Vela "Marina di Lecce" of Smarè and numerous sports and cultural associations, organizes, on days 21, 22 and 23 June 2013, the fifth edition of the race Vele nel Parco.

The show returns with the same goal as always: combine sport and Ecology, Environment, Land and tourism promotion. To this will be incorporated into the programs Clean Regatta, the Sailor For the Sea (http://sailorsforthesea.org/), which promotes concrete actions for the protection of the sea and Parks without borders, (http://www.uisplecce.com/projects/) project that has as main objective of the full accessibility to the Parks and Natural Areas by all, with special attention to disadvantaged users such as children, the elderly and persons with disabilities.

Vele nel Parco a big laboratory, where everyone can participate in the following activities more congenial: Sailing, Cycling, walking along the Adriatic coast or participating in one of the many fantastic projects that come to life in three days.

June 21, Friday

Santa Maria di Leuca
18:00 - presentation of the event and the crews at the headquarters of Smarè Sailing School
21.30 - reception party, buffet and music with Tobia Lamare 

June 22, Saturday

Santa Maria di Leuca
9:30 am - start of the race in the waters off the port; Start activities within the park: sup, surfing, hiking, horse riding, cycling and wine tours.

Otranto
17.30 arrival regatta at the marina, mooring, welcome crews;
21.00 buffet and awards ceremony at the headquarters of the Navy League Otranto.
